TAJPI which stands for The A’ray Justice and Peace Initiative. Started its activities on October 2013 as traditional tribunal, later on evolved into a nationally registered NGO on 1 April 2019 under Section 12(2) of Act No. 24 of 2002 (Certificate No. 00010156).
It operates at the grassroots through mediation, reconciliation, legal awareness, and community capacity building—enabling people to resolve conflicts and drive their own development. While its leadership includes individuals with religious backgrounds, the organization functions strictly as a secular civil society institution aligned with national priorities and international human rights frameworks. Rooted in volunteerism and local knowledge, TAJPI delivers practical, community-led solutions that strengthen social cohesion and safeguard the environment.
A society where the poor and disregarded, defenseless children and families, widows and widowers, and communities in conflict are protected, heard, and supported—and where the cry of Mother Earth is addressed with urgency, responsibility, and collective action.
To build a just and peaceful society where accountability, human dignity, and environmental sustainability thrive through community-driven solutions.
